Grace Good Biography
Grace Good is an American multi-talented cirque artist and high-stakes performance specialist. Known for her viral appearances on Season 18 of America’s Got Talent and AGT: Fantasy League, she has redefined the boundaries of modern variety entertainment through a unique fusion of extreme fire stunts, high-level hula hoop artistry, and aerial acrobatics.
Unlike traditional performers, Grace’s journey did not begin in the circus ring. A self-taught artist, she launched her career on the streets of downtown Nashville, driven by an obsession with fire, hula hoops, and the adrenaline of flight. Despite having no formal background in gymnastics or dance, her "pure, unfiltered passion" transformed a local spark into a global career that now spans from Nashville to Las Vegas and beyond.
Today, Grace is a premier headliner for the world’s largest stages. She has performed over 100 NBA halftime shows and lit up screens and arenas for NASCAR, PBR (Professional Bull Riders), and corporate event performances across the world. Her signature performance style—often described as "danger meets elegance"—blends death-defying fire stunts with high-level hula hoop artistry and aerial acrobatics.
Beyond her solo career, Grace is the founder of Goodness Gracious Creative, a boutique production house that brings bespoke cirque energy to everything from stadium-sized halftime shows to intimate celebrity events. Whether she is spinning fire under arena lights or floating through the air, Grace Good remains dedicated to proving that circus art is a bold, electric, and living discipline.
FAQ with Grace
Q: How did you get started in circus arts?
I saw a video of Lisa Lottie on Tumblr (yeah.. that might tell my age) and I was mesmerized! I immediately bought a hula hoop and went straight to Youtube tutorials. I was in college at the time and found a hoop troupe on campus! I became totally obsessed with hoops and fell down the rabbit hole of circus from there. I help found the circus program at the Nashville Circus Center, where I could train all da everyday! Then, I started street performing in downtown Nashville with hoops and fire, then fell in love with circus arts and built my career one performance at a time.
Q: What’s the craziest show you’ve ever done?
This one is always so hard because there are SO many good ones. My biggest show was Stadium of Fire—performing in front of 60,000 people live! My most nerve-wracking (but epic) show was the Semi-Finals of America’s Got Talent… literally nothing prepares you for the feeling of performing live on TV to millions of people. And one of my favorite “craziest” moments was taking the stage at the NBA Finals… what a rush!
Q: Do you ever get burned?
Of course! Playing with fire means you will get burnt. Over the years I’ve had some minor burns. I still get tiny ones, yes (like kitchen burns), but safety is everything for me. I’ve never had a third-degree burn, and I train constantly to keep it that way.
Q: What do you do when you’re not performing?
I’m usually outdoors—camping, hiking, or biking—reading romantasy novels (the Throne of Glass series will forever be my favorite!), spending time with friends and family, and traveling to new places. I still have so many destinations on my international bucket list!
Q: Can I learn to do what you do?
Absolutely! Circus arts are for everyone. I always encourage people to take classes, start small, and remember that I had no dance or gymnastics background when I began. Look into your local circus or aerial arts studio to get started!
