First Fireball Friday Event: Aerial Performer & Fire Breather

Grace Good teamed up with Antonio Restivo, Alio Fan and Fireball Whiskey to put on an astounding event at Ichabod's Lounge in Las Vegas, NV.

Joined by her crew with iFocus productions, her supportive daredevil boyfriend Kurtis Downs, and her trusty assistant/good friend Rebecca Ryan (me!)

In the beginning of the day the most important thing was to get the big red ball camera ready. Kurtis and Grace grabbed some spray paint and a tarp and got to work. After the ball was fully painted and dry, I put the Fireball stickers onto the ball. This was a lot trickier than you would think, but it turned out pretty nice!

Meanwhile, Kurtis and Grace worked on getting the aerial rig in order. In case you're new to the circus terms like I was at the beginning of working for Grace, an aerial rig is a big structure that holds performers up while they spin on the big fancy ropes. The rig for this event was especially difficult to set up because it was larger than the one that Grace typically uses. With a little help from the Antonio and Alio the rig was up and ready for Grace to spin in the air safely.

To the left Grace hanging in a Lyra (another new word for me) and to the right is the full rig set up with straps attached and Grace using them to perform behind Antonio .

One thing to note is that all these things happened within three hours of the event start time. Grace has so much going on that she has mastered the art of getting hard projects done quickly, making them look flawless, and making it look easy. In my opinion, this translates directly to her act and how she performs.

After the rig, the ball, and Grace were performance ready the real fun began. Patrons inside the lounge and people coming to see the show lined up to take pictures with Grace in front of the Fireball sign (also known as a step and repeat.) After a few pictures, Grace, Antionio and Alio went into Ichabod's Lounge to interact more with the patrons and hand out some Fireball swag.

The crowd had so much fun talking with Grace that many of them left their tables/bar seats and went outside to watch her performance. Not only was this an exciting in person event, over 600 people were watching on Instagram Live as the show was going on.

Grace and her team had a blast performing in the live setting again in Las Vegas. Fireball and Grace will continue their partnership over the next few months so stay tuned to her website and Instagram to see what events will be coming to your city shortly!
